About the location |
Within 300m of the apartment is Melbourne Central shopping centre, Melbourne
city’s largest shopping centre. In Melbourne Central you can shop, dine,
see a movie, go to the gym, buy groceries – literally everything you need is at
Melbourne Central. However, an IGA supermarket is just around the corner for
those little odds and ends.
The unit is approximately 300m to the Flagstaff underground railway station and
800 metres from Melbourne’s main train and bus station - Southern Cross
Station. The bus to the airport also departs from Southern Cross Station and
travels directly to the Melbourne Airport Domestic & International
Terminals. Also to mention is that the unit is around the corner from the Royal
Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) and the Queen Victoria Markets.
Almost outside your door is Melbourne’s FREE City Circle Tram (approximately
20 metres walk). The City Circle Tram is a free service around central
Melbourne. The tram takes passengers past major attractions such as the
Old Treasury Building, Parliament House, Princess Theatre, Flinders Street
Station and Docklands and links with other tram, train and light rail services.
Trams run in both directions every 12 minutes, seven days a week between
10am and 6pm (except Christmas Day and Good Friday), and during
daylight-
saving extended hours, 10am to 9pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
